Who to call if you are concerned about someone sleeping outside in severe weather:
During Business Hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.): Housing and Human Services, 703-248-5005 (TTY 711)
After Hours: Police Department Non-Emergency, 703-248-5053
Through March 31, 2018, additional shelter resources are available to those who are homeless. Hypothermia Shelters have a no “turn away” policy and give the homeless an opportunity to protect themselves from severe weather. For additional information, please visit the website.
