Police Accept OTC Drugs, Prescription Medicine on Drug Take Back Day 4/29
Participate in Drug Take-Back Day by bringing unwanted prescription and over-the-counter drugs to the City of Fairfax Police Station.
Pills, ointments and liquids in sealed containers will be accepted from 10 am to 2 pm April 29 in the police station lobby, 3730 Old Lee Highway.
Drop-off is anonymous; no identification or prescription information is required. For information, call 703-273-2889.
Since the twice-yearly take-back program launched in October 2011, the city collected nearly 3,000 pounds of expired or unused medication.
