Our team has worked to research and evaluate these 25 amazing facilities. While these programs are developing the next great generation of composers, Tony-award winners, and authors, they are also wowing theatergoers around the country.

While compiling this ranking, our team looked at seating capacity, architecture, and of course programming to determine our list. From historic gems to theaters meeting new LEED standards, we took it all into consideration. These theaters are more than buildings, they are the home of hours of rehearsals, stage crews, directors and musicians.
